Shony Company’s journey began with the technical experience and vision of Eng. Shawky Elazony, who earned his BSc degree in Dyeing, Printing, and Finishing from the Faculty of Applied Arts.
His career in textile processing mills gave him strong hands-on experience, including his role as Printing Manager at M/S El Seuf Spinning & Weaving Company.
In 1976, Eng. Shawky Elazony started his private business in importing and exporting synthetic organic dyestuffs and textile auxiliaries. This marked the beginning of Shony Company’s journey in the textile field.
By 1979, Shony Company developed into a trade agency representing multinational companies from Europe and Asia in the dyestuffs and auxiliaries sector.
In 1995, Eng. Ahmed Elazony expanded the company’s focus into dyeing, finishing, and printing machinery, strengthening Shony’s role as a technical and commercial partner for textile manufacturers.
In 2024, Shony Company expanded into the Gulf region by establishing SHONY Company FZE in Sharjah. This step supports the company’s presence across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Today, Shony Company is supported by a team of 15 experts providing marketing, technical support, installation, start-up, calibration, and after-sales services for textile machinery and laboratory equipment.
